How I love the beach

We went to the beach with Grandma last Saturday. It was in Eastbourne and we took two trains to get there. When we were there - Grandma had to go to the bathroom - but she didn't really have to go. She just wanted to look. We gave her some money to go because it costs 20 p to get in the bathroom. I had to help her find it.

Later Amber and Daddy and Grandma were sitting on a bench eating sandwiches. Meanwhile, me and Mommy went to get some drinks. When we came back, I skipped and Mommy walked. I was carrying my drink and Mommy was carrying three drinks.

Then me and Daddy went down to the beach to check it out. It was rocky. We went under the pier and it was dark and no one was under there.

Then we went on the pier and had ice cream. I had chocolate of course. Mommy had panna cotta with raspberry and everyone else had chocolate. Yum!

Then we went to the beach. Grandma sat in a chair while we sat on blankets. Then later that day, me and Mommy went down to the water and we wadded in. We said, " Ooooo - it's cold!" Then we went back up and we found some cool rocks too. Then me and Daddy played Frisbee. I almost got hit.

Sadly we had to leave the beach, but we did get to eat at a really cool Italian place. I had lasagna. Mommy had spaghetti. Grandma had a salad (and some of my lasagna.) Amber and Daddy had some really good Carbonara which is some pasta with a light sauce on it. Then we had crepes - Yum! (only sugar and butter - but lots of butter.)

Then we walked back to the train and sadly we had to leave. Goodbye. Hope you liked it.
